Project
The project is temporary in the sense that it has a defined start and end in time and therefore the scope and resources are defined.
And the project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to achieve a single goal. Therefore, the project team often includes people who do not usually work together, sometimes from different organizations and from different regions.
Developing software to improve business processes, constructing a building or bridge, providing disaster relief, expanding sales to a new geographic market are all projects.
And all of this must be well managed to deliver the timely budget results, learning, and integration that organizations need.
Therefore, project management is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and methods to project activities to meet project requirements.
Simply put, a project is a series of tasks that must be completed to achieve a specific result. A project can also be defined as a set of inputs and outputs necessary to achieve a specific goal. Projects can range from simple to complex and can be managed by one person or hundreds. Projects are usually described and delegated by a manager or supervisor. They overestimate their expectations and goals, and the team must manage logistics and complete the project on time. Sometimes there may be deadlines or time limits. For good project performance, some teams divide the project into separate tasks so that they can manage responsibility and build on team strengths.
